Indian Academy Degree College - Autonomous, Dept. of Chemistry Commemorates 150th Year of the Periodic Table.
The United Nations has declared 2019 the “International Year of the Periodic Table of the Chemical Elements”. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the periodic table and recognize the important role chemistry plays in promoting sustainable development and providing solutions to global challenges, the department of Chemistry commemorated the occasion on 31st October 2019 by organizing various events for students like Elementa, Name Play, Magic with Chemicals, Implexis, Poster Making based on the periodic table. The students participated with a lot of enthusiasm in all the different activities.
