National Youth Day

To spread the universal ideas and the inspiring thoughts of Swami Vivekananda to the students at IADC-A, the departments of NSS / NCC/ Youth Red Cross and Sri Aurobindo Centre for Education in Human values celebrated National Youth Day, on 11th January 2020. Theme of 2020: Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building. ‘INSPIRE’.

The programme commenced with prayer song followed by welcome address. The Chief Guest of the programme was Mrs. Najma Farooqi, KSPS Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID – Bangalore. She Addressed the students on Cyber crime. Dr.E. Jerome Xavier, Principal, presided over the programme In his presidential address he stressed the importance of following the words of Swami Vivekananda and to inculcate the moral values propagated by him. On this occasion, students performed skit on the life of Swami Vivekananda which was fascinating and quite inspiring to the audience.
