Could you provide us with a summary of your career progression since graduation?*
In the process of setting my career, it’s been a great experience for me because I always knew I wanted to become a professor and to reach here, it required efforts and mainly the support of IASMS.
How has your Indian Academy qualification helped your career?*
The academic experience with good management and excellent faculty at IASMS has endured me with lifelong career excellence. The exceptional programs and teaching methodologies backed by practical skills and industry interface have given me the confidence to pursue my career ahead. The all-time support and motivation of the faculty members of the Indian Academy School of Management Studies, has enlightened me throughout the beautiful journey.
How did you get your first relevant role related to the career you are working in now?*
I got my first role as an Asst.Professor through the guidance and suggestion of my faculty of IASMS.
What is your greatest professional achievement to date?*
I believe that my greatest achievement as a teacher is being a wholesome person. As a fresher, teaching for UG is the platform but the management found that I was capable enough to handle PG classes too, I consider this an achievement to date. I would have to say that my greatest accomplishment was becoming fully aware of how important teaching is and how powerful teachers are...
What do you enjoy most about your work and what are the biggest challenges?*
I enjoy the work that I do, it's a dream job for me. I love teaching and interacting with students and sharing their thoughts. My biggest challenge is managing time and I am trying real good to hit the target in a given particular time.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career route and what skills/experience do you consider to be necessary?*
One has to be passionate to become Professor, if not it becomes a difficult job to do. Pursuing this career is a great idea but one has to put in efforts to reach here. If you love the profession, you will come up with a unique skill set that is hidden within.
Why did you choose Indian Academy?*
I chose to pursue my MBA degree at Indian Academy because the program covered a wide range of areas that I already had familiarity with. In addition, I had heard great things from ex-students who attended and graduated from the college, especially that they worked on a personal level with their professors.
What did you enjoy most about studying here?*
I am blessed that I was here, I gained a lot of experience and skills that are transferrable to any industry. However, I knew that I was lacking knowledge of certain things. This was the main factor in my decision to obtain an MBA.

My overall college experience has been great. This is because, the staff is friendly, professional and understanding of any needs that you may have. The facilities within the college campus are very good.
