Could you provide us with a summary of your career progression since graduation?*
Since completion of MBA from Indian Academy I have joined Northern Trust as a financial analyst and its been only 15 months as of now.
How has your Indian Academy qualification helped your career?*
In finance career it is very important to have the fundamentals very strong to crack the interview and to perform your daily job. Finance faculties have taught us these fundamentals in an excellent manner.
How did you get your first relevant role related to the career you are working in now?*
I was referred by one of my classmate.
What is your greatest professional achievement to date?*
As its been only 15 months for me in the bank I have learned mutiple desks and reports in a very short time.
What do you enjoy most about your work and what are the biggest challenges?*
I always had interest in capital markets and working in same field is the main reason I enjoy my current role.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career route and what skills/experience do you consider to be necessary?*
It is really a good career path as capital markets is very wide, interms of scope and constantly growth. Skills required would be basic accounting knowledge and Basic capital markets knowledge to start the career.
