The movie “The Insider“ is an American drama which was released in 1999, based on true story and an article named as “The Man who knew too much”. The movie revolves around situational dilemmas an employee faces, as to whether expose the company or protect him from the threats of lawsuit and the company’s management. The movie revolves around Dr. Jeffrey Wigand and Brown & Williams on, which is the third largest tobacco company in the country. The company has fired Wigand from his current position Vice President of Research and Development department. This was because the firm had instructed him to hide information pertaining to addictive nature of nicotine; as such information would have an adverse impact on the business. A movie full of suspense, drama, controversies, which was telecasted in the classroom and students made a presentation on Management Lessons learning from the movie.
