IASMS conducted an Orientation Programme on the theme “Presentation and Design – Tech Skills” on 15th January 2021 from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm in Seminar Hall 2. 1st semester MBA Students were present for the orientation programme.

The speaker emphasized on the following aspects:
What skills are needed for a presentation?
Presentation skills are the abilities one needs in order to deliver compelling, engaging, informative, transformative, educational, enlightening, and/or instructive presentations. Central to effective presentation skills are public speaking, tone of voice, body language, creativity, and delivery.
What are design skills?
Thinking creatively. Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
Presentation and Design
We can use technology to make our presentations more effective. Various tools available such as power point Presentations and attractive templates to prepare contents that would enable the students to incorporate technology and information more efficiently.
The session enabled the students to gain knowledge on the technology tools that can be used for effective presentations and assignments in the MBA curriculum.
