MBA Professor
Please share what made you get into teaching/academics?*
I wanted to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in young people's lives and to optimistically inspire the same passion and interest in the subject that I have. In such a fast-paced world, I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful, and contributing adults very seriously. I believe that I can help students achieve their highest potential.
What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher/Professor?*
I love teaching, and for me, it is a calling and a passion. The love for teaching comes with ensuring that all my classes are student centered and that the voices of the students are not only heard, for MBA Professionals I see this most with students who I see over the course of several semesters. After they take classes in their field, participate in campus events, and complete internships, it is rewarding to see them shine! Being able to help MBA professionals better understand Marketing and Human resource management as it applies to their work environment is extremely rewarding for me.
What makes Indian Academy a great place to work/study?*
It’s been about five years working at Indian Academy and it is a great place to work under the leadership of Our Charismatic Leader, Chairman Dr.T.Somashekar, Our Secretary Madam Mrs.Bharathi T, Our COO Dr. Srinidhi K Parthasarathi, and Director Dr. Reena Shyam, it has indeed been a very enriching experience for me. It is an organization that offers opportunities for everyone to foster and grow both professionally and personally. I have not only learned a lot over these years about my domain but there has also been a lot of cross-functional learning which has helped in overall growth in my career. Peers at Indian Academy are extremely encouraging, talented, and like one big family who are always around to support at times of need. The organization is very multicultural and I get to interact with colleagues from various cultural backgrounds, which is also another interesting facet of working for Indian Academy. And it’s not all work all the time, Indian Academy also has a very proactive approach to employee wellbeing and frequently organizes various events for professor development. Overall Indian Academy has been one of the best places to work.
