Please share what made you get into teaching/academics?*

My aim in teaching is to foster the building up of a strong foundation of fundamental knowledge, critical thinking, and learning skills in young minds, which they can use themselves to build their careers. Not only facilitating an understanding of a subject that is directly relevant to students’ careers is important but also an emphasis on self-learning is needed. From the little a person has gained from several years of research and teaching, equipping students for a broad range of demands in future academic and occupational settings is the need of the hour.

What is the most rewarding part of being a teacher/Professor?*

The best part of being a teacher is the interaction with several generations of young students. So often, they do not see their talent or do not know how to direct it. Being a teacher gives us a way to help enrich students' lives, we strive to inspire their love of learning and motivate them to achieve their personal best. Nothing makes a teacher prouder than seeing their students succeed.
