Spectrum - 2022

The Cultural fest is the most awaited bonanza for the students in an institution. On the 9th and 10th of August 2022, all roads led to Indian Academy Degree College -Autonomous. The excitement among the students was exhilarated. It was “SPECTRUM 2022” the much-awaited Intra-Collegiate cultural festival at our institution for students. The most special thing about the event was a video presentation a memory throwback on -India 2020 to 2022. The video was a beautiful gesture to remember the ups and downs the sad memories and achievements in these two-year spans by the nation. The video made everyone’s soul happy that became vibrant, contagious and exuberant. There was a public message that we should respect our nation and be prepared to serve the nation. Organization of such Intra-Collegiate fest helps the students to develop managerial skills, as college needs to attracting big crowds from in and outside the college.
It is an Intra-Collegiate fest organized exclusively for the students. Spectrum is a memorable event for every fresher and it embarks a student's journey in Indian Academy by giving them a holistic experience. The fest consists of some of the events like Cultural events like Dance, Music, and fashion show and so on.
SPECTRUM is the intra-collegiate cultural show organized by the Student Welfare Officers and most enthusiastic Student Council, with the overall support of the management this mega event unveils the most spectacular talents of our students in distinguished events which includes various on-stage events like solo singing, duet singing, group singing, solo dance (Indian and Western), Group Dance (Indian and Western), Mime and Fashion Show. The off-stage events were Video Making, Rangoli, Mehandi Design, best out of waste, cooking without fuel and Make Over. All these promised us a day of fun and laughter.
The day began on a very auspicious note with the invocation of God’s blessing with invocation dance performed by our students and lighting of Lamp. Our student council members also welcomed the gathering with a welcome dance. The official inauguration was led by our honorable Chairman Dr. T.Somashekar,and Principal Dr.Srinidhi Parthasarthy.
At the end of the inaugural session the Chairman appreciated the team for all the arrangements and concept of video making by giving a take home message for the students. The much-awaited On-stage Events took off to a flying state. The on-stage events had well known Alumni as judges. Students gave their best shot and it turned out to be fabulous fantastic and exciting entertainment. With the day filled with Fun and Frolic, the cultural festival ended with a happy and a positive note. The Chief Student Welfare Officer S.Shobha proposed the vote of thanks, by thanking each and every person who made SPECTRUM 2022 successful.
Lastly, the prime intention of pulling up a fest is to allow students a period of recreation. Though cultural fests rob students of their energy but replenish them with new vigor and enthusiasm. Memories and friendships created in fests are cherished forever. In the vicious life cycle of a student, revolving around studies, ‘College Fests’ shows a certain degree of inflation in the excitement levels of students.
