Governing Council
Governing Councils, for individual Institutions, are established to oversee the design, development and the effective implementation of various Academic, Co-Curricular and enrichment programs. The Governing Council also plays an important role in establishing adequate physical infrastructure and competent human resources.
Renowned individuals from Academic, Industrial and Civic backgrounds are selected as representatives in the Governing Council. Besides, Nominees from Affiliating Boards/Universities such as the Pre-University Board, Bengaluru North University, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, AICTE and other Academic & Regulatory Bodies also constitute the Governing Council. Adequate representation is also invited and included from the Staff, Student community & other stakeholders in order to make policy design & governance participatory and inclusive. The Governing Council meets often and deliberates on various issues, guides Institutional Heads & submits recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
