English proficiency programme
A dedicated Language Laboratory is available at Indian Academy Degree College; the laboratory has a number of well-equipped computer systems with software such as “Wordsworth”. The software can help students Self-start their learning; the levels, ranging from “Basic” to “Advanced” can help even beginners become proficient in English at their own pace of learning. Audio / Visual equipments such as individual Microphones & Headphones are also available at the Language Laboratory to aid phonetics, speech & pronunciation.
Many international students hailing from non- English-speaking countries have immensely benefitted by this initiative. This initiative has benefitted many other students as well to enhance their English which in turn has helped them to do well in their academics as well in their job placements.
