Skill Advancement Program for Life Science students

The Department of Students Development & Research (DSDR) was established with the primary aim of enhancing skill sets of students by a Basic Skill Advancement Programme (BSAP), designed exclusively for the postgraduate students of Life Sciences streams. The BSAP aims at improving their cognitive skills, employability and eligibility and aptitude for higher studies. The program is poised with dry & wet laboratory components.

The duration of the programme is 52 hrs, which is equivalent of an individual paper in regular course. The program aimed the student skills to be enhanced in the area of application of Bioinformatics tools and Gene Cloning. Both these areas are common to all life science students and fundamentally required in their experience being a student of Biology.
